MIRIAM McCOMBE is a musician and songwriter originally from Bath, UK. Her music combines folky, lilting melodies and funky grooves, balancing waves of sadness with lyrical silliness. Miriam started out her career teaching singing in local schools and performing with Bristol’s The Fantasy Orchestra as a conductor and flautist, before moving to Aotearoa in 2019. 

Inspired by the vibrant Tāmaki music scene, Miriam released her first EP 'Weightless' in 2023, a self-produced collection of heartfelt songs documenting her tumultuous first few years in NZ. Since then she’s pulled together a band of local indie music legends, has performed her songs with local darlings SHE Choir Auckland, and has even released music with the beloved Suzy Cato. She's always looking for a band to be in - hit her up!
