Mice on Stilts is an art-folk collective from Auckland, weaving cinematic soundscapes with raw lyrical intensity. Blending folk roots with elements of chamber pop and post-rock, the band crafts music that is both intimate and expansive. Since forming in 2011, Mice on Stilts has become known for their emotionally resonant performances and richly layered instrumentation, featuring strings, brass, keys, and textured guitars.

Their 2023 album I Am Proud of You has been hailed as a transformative listening experience, reflecting themes of grief, growth, and healing.
