Jeff Davis (US/NZ)

Jeff is a well-respected collector and interpreter of traditional music. He has travelled to meet "source singers," and has ploughed through archives, too. A performance might include ballads, sea, songs, minstrel ditties, sea songs, or rare fiddle tunes, unusual and rare instruments, all assembled from the music of, say, New York loggers, Nova Scotia farmers, African-American sailors, North Carolina mountaineers, or Utah cowboys.
