Jeff is a well-respected collector and interpreter of American music. He's traveled to meet "source singers" and plowed through archives, too. A performance might include ballads, sea songs, minstrel ditties, or rare fiddle tunes, etc., all assembled from the music of New York loggers, Nova Scotia farmers, African-American sailors, and North Carolina mountaineers.
