Celtic Ferret (Jean Reid and Ian Bartlett) are seasoned performers on the New Zealand circuit and their albums For Love And Not For Gold and A Few Miles Together have been well received. Their participation and lively performances at many clubs and festivals reflects their passion for promoting British traditional folk music.

With their earthy harmonies and thoughtful instrumentation Celtic Ferret paint evocative musical pictures of days gone by, songs with a timeless quality and tunes to get your toes tapping. They have been main guests at the Wellington, Whare Flat and Canterbury folk festivals and seek the opportunity to do the same at their “home” festival.

Jean’s guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin, and bodhran coupled with Ian’s multiple woodwind instruments, smallpipes and percussion enrich their unique blend of voices. Celtic Ferret’s performances continue to appeal to a wide audience.
